We are in the heart of the Venetian countryside, in the province of Treviso, nestled between cultivated fields and our own greenhouses full of flowers. Our farmhouse near Venice provides guests with a peaceful visit to the countryside while also allowing for exciting trips to Venice and Treviso, as well as the chance to discover typical local products such as Treviso’s red radicchio and Badoere’s white asparagus.
Venice is easily reached in half an hour by train from the Noale station (10 minutes by car from the farmhouse), while the historic city center of Treviso is 20 minutes away by car.
Just 5 minutes from us you will also find the Rotonda di Badoere, a large 17th-century Barchessa with an original circular plan, which hosts an important antique market held onthe first Sunday of every month.
Between the end of April and the beginning of May each year, there is also an exhibition of the PGI Badoere Asparagus, with stands where you can buy and taste white and green asparagus. Also nearby is the Zero Branco Asparagus Exhibition in April, while those visiting during the month of January can enjoy the PGI Treviso Radicchio exhibition and tastings.
Guests will also enjoy visiting the Regional Natural Park, which hosts Italy’s longest resurgent spring river: the 70 kmSile River. The Oasis of Cervara, where you can find the visitor center and starting point for the park's itineraries, is just an 8-minute drive from Ca’ Florian.
Ca’ Florian is also a convenient home base for those who wish to discover the beautiful Venetian Villas scattered throughout the area, less than a halfhour's drive away. One possible itinerary is to start from Villa Emo, a UNESCO World Heritage Sitebuilt by Palladio with original frescoes from the 16th century, then continue on to Villa Barbaro in Maser, another wonderful example of Palladio architecture with frescoes by Veronese, and finally reach Villa Pisani in Stra, a magnificent 18th-century villa famous for its labyrinth and with frescoes by Tiepolo.
